

| Have you ever wondered about all of the
people that have made your existence possible? If just one of them had
died prematurely, where would you be right now? Almost everyone knows their
grandparent's name. Some may even know the names of their great-grandparents?
What's that you say, "My great who?" Do you know? Should you care? Yes!
What I'm searching for simply put is: "What is the essence me?" This web site is a story of one person who cared enough, and refused to let the names of these wonderful people go into oblivion and become forgotten forever. I cared enough to travel to the origins of where it began. Today, I rigorously trace every lead that I uncover. The World Wide Web has become to me what the nose is to the bloodhound. I send and receive e-mail letters almost everyday to and from international addresses in search of . . . "My Roots." I think that everyone should have at least one meaningful quest in their life. My quest is to know, "Who Am I?" And I will know. My grandchildren, Trey and Sarah will ask me one day, "Who am I" grandpa? And I will say, "You are the 7th great-grandchildren of Antonino Favaloro and Maria Bertucci. And when their grandchildren ask, "Who am I ?" they will say, let's go ask great-great-grandpa Bill. It is my intention to bring the names of the past into the present.
